How Voting Works

Server rankings on MMOANONS are based on votes from real players. Voting is free and takes less than a minute. Here is how it works.

How to vote

Sign in to your MMOANONS account and confirm your email address.
Open the server's page in the rating and press "Vote".
Enter your in-game character name and choose the server you play on.
Complete the security check and submit your vote.

How often can I vote?

You can vote once per day: one account, one vote a day, for any server you choose. A new day starts at 00:00 Moscow time (UTC+3).

Voting bonuses

Many servers reward their players for voting with in-game bonuses. Bonuses are given out by the server itself, not by MMOANONS, so enter your character name exactly as it appears in the game. If you did not receive a bonus, please contact the server's administration.

Vote verification

Every vote is verified automatically after it is submitted. This usually takes a few minutes. You can see the status of your votes in the "My Votes" section of your account.

Votes that do not pass verification are not counted. To keep the system effective, we do not disclose how verification works or why a particular vote was not accepted.

How votes affect the rankings

A server's position in the rating depends on the votes it receives during the current calendar month. The rating is refreshed regularly, and the count starts again at the beginning of each month.

Votes are weighted. Every vote is assessed automatically and counts towards the rating either fully or only partially, so the number shown in the rating may be lower than the number of votes a server has received. Weighting does not affect voting bonuses: every accepted vote is passed on to the server.

To keep the rating fair, we continuously analyse voting activity. Votes that turn out not to be genuine may have their weight reduced or be removed at any time, even after they were counted.

Fair play

The following is not allowed:

Creating or using multiple accounts to vote more than once a day.
Using bots, scripts or any other automated means of voting.
Buying, selling or exchanging votes.
Artificially inflating the votes of your own server by any means.

Violations may lead to votes being removed, accounts being blocked and servers being removed from the rating.
